‘Four Year Strong’ is my all time favourite band because they really really earn every bit of success they get. They are so much authentic and they truely care about their fans.
‘It must really suck to be Four Year Strong right now’ is also a title which shows the very down-to-earth humour of this guys. In this video everything comes together. http://vimeo.com/13045284

STYG live videos.
My decision concerning the STYG Videos I captured in Karlsruhe few days ago is to do some kind of double feature on both vimeo and also on my new youtube account I created last week.
So on Vimeo you will find the video of ‘Amber’, and on Youtube you’ll be viewing ‘What Goes Around’ each containing a link to each other. Why? I’m sure this will gain more attention than...

getdroppedloseout-deactivated20 asked: Cheers for the follow man, read your write up of the Kids 'We Used To Be Tour' and watch the Break Even vid.
I'm at the Southampton leg on Sunday you've just made me more stoked for it!

Here it is, the live video to ‘Break Even’s ‘November 18th’.
Feel free to share and post it wherever you like! I’m sure the band (follow them on tumblr) would want this, too. http://vimeo.com/20033814

Lost and Tears.
I just had an absolute great idea for a 7 minute long compilation video of one of my very favorite series. This may gain many followers. And everyone will cry.
And I will cry the most, because it will be so much work. Watching 5000 minutes (= 84 hours) of videos. And then cut it. Outch. Will it be worth it? I don’t know.

Addicted to Originals.
I just spent 65 Euro on 30 movies, some of them having bonus discs. Was it a good deal or was it pure madness? Or is it a win for the film industry that a few movies are copied legally instead of being ripped or streamed?
I fear the bad thing about it will be that in the end they just fill my shelves. Or is this a good thing because an empty DVD shelf looks incredible poor when you say you love...

Okay, I totally love ‘A Day To Remember’, their live performances and their music videos. They definitely set new standarts in some points and with the video to ‘All I Want’ they’ve shown us how a “who also respects us” compilation should look like. If you’re not versed in the scene; these are few of the biggest bands in this business.
This is...

So my first video shooting with my brand new 550D is done and it turned out awesome material. This video is completely unedited* and no external gear was used, just the Canon 550D, it’s EF-S 18-55 IS kit lens and the built-in microphone. The video shows ‘The Haverbrook Disaster’ playing ‘Captain We’ve Got a Problem’ live in Bruchsal, Germany. I chose this...

First shot.
I’m preparing my first real shot. In about 18 hours my buddys of ‘The Haverbrook Disaster’ will be having a gig and I’m going with them to capture a live video for their latest single ‘Mr No Regrets’.
Nothing special - just practising under real circumstances. Gaining experience is what I’m intending to do.

A music video I also like is ‘Living Saints’ of a band I missed at least twice to see live: ‘Polar Bear Club’. But I bet they’ll come again this or next year and then I’ll be in front of the stage for some singalongs.
The video was shot by Tom Colella and I think it’s pretty nice for fans because of it’s fanboy style. Tom Colella also shot...

Music Videos.
Directing music videos can be a ladder to “real” filmmaking. Just think about the many directors who started in the music industry. It’s such a big market. Nowadays every band has the possibilities because good equipment is getting less expensive and knowlegde is shared via the internet.
I also plan to do some music videos to start my career and I’ convinced that I’m...

So this is one of my favourite music videos which really impressed me when I watched it for the first time in 2008. I think this is what a music video should look like; It shows a great performing band, very cool effects and every cut, every movement fits to the atmosphere of the music. http://vimeo.com/1314031
