The new official music video of The Haverbrook Disaster’s new single “The Chosen Few” is out now!

I also worked hard to make this release an eye candy: shot all scenes involving Jesse Barnett of Stick To Your Guns and also cameo-ing as one of the suit men.

Unfortunately, there are no making of photos. I used my EF 28mm/2.8 on my 60D and put it on a Glidecam HD-2000 to shoot Jesse and Andy, walking down the corridor in this old nazi bunker, haha. Jesse Barnett is one of the nicest persons I’ve ever met. When he starts telling stories, you’ll be amazed. He is so professional, this whole thing was a joy to work on.

Some weeks later we filmed the rest of the music video. But with me in front of the camera, together with two dozen of suited up guys. Don’t get confused; the video was produced and directed by Max Niklas of ambitious.films – I just helped out where I could. Uncredited, which is somehow disappointing, but this happens.

So now go check it out, some scenes are eye candy:

This is storytelling how I love it. ‘Run Boy Run’ by one of my favourite French musicians Woodkid, even you can count his releases on one hand.

Abstract, epic, visual, mysterious. The key components for Woodkid’s style of directing. A great inspiration.

One of my talented buddys from Karlsruhe who’s name is also Matt(hias) just released his first music video. Today is his birthday! So head over to youtube and write some nice comments, haha.

Also looking forward to release some of the photos I shot while he and his crew were painting a bridge with some nice styles…

Not really matching my primary musical taste: Madonna. I don’t know by heart how old she is but what I know, is, that she seems like never getting old and always reinventing herself (a bit). And so are her music videos.

Don’t know if I love or disgust this piece of audiovisual bewilderment. But I think you should take a look. If you’re on youtube and 18+ ;)
