I totally forget to tell you that I had been to the Never Say Die Open Air 2011 to film my friends of The Haverbrook Disaster. The festival had been lame until Deez Nuts entered the Stage, because the audience didn’t seem to know the other bands who played before. How sad.
Deez Nuts partied hard, Comeback Kid where good but the security guys prevented any stagedive. Madball were epic but I never listened to their music before, I can’t explain how this is possible. I really am no Parkway Drive fan, but they absolutely showed why they are the kings of metalcore. In Europe they headline everything that’s headlineable and that for a good reason; their sound is live better than on CD and their show is down-to-earth but impressive.
I will post pictures soon!
